 Kiev is considered to be one of the most ancient cities of Europe, which is confirmed by the great amount of priceless monuments of architecture (more then 200), dated 10-12 century, and preserved for the descendants. Together with the experienced guide you will begin your excursion from Starokievskaya Gorka (Vladimir Hill), where the first settlements of slavyan were founded, you will see the copy of the foundation of Desyatinnaya Church (10 century), which is the oldest Christian church of Kiev Rus, which was founded by Knyaz Vladimir.

Not far from Sophievskiy Cathedral there are famous Golden Gates (11th century), which used to be the part of the fortress. They were almost completely destroyed in 1240 and later reconstructed.
